Our activities
Our mission is both broad and narrow. It is narrow, because we focus on object-oriented application development. But it is also broad, simply because today's applications are complex.
Here is what we can do for you:
- Mentoring: we'll be your guide on your journey from procedural development to object-oriented development. Typically, our involvement decreases as time progresses, until you can go on your own.
- Project management: as a variation on the mentoring theme, we can guide your own people as part of the team. This requires more involvement from our part, just like an internal projectleader.
- Consulting: this is a "catch-all" term, but we use it for those projects where we provide raw knowledge. You get to pick our brans, so to speak.
- Proof of Concept projects: before jumping into new technology, it pays to try and find out if your organisation would benefit from it at all. Read about our approach on our POC page.
- Contract programming: often, there are parts of a larger project that require specialist knowledge, but not enough to justify hiring or training. In such cases, we can develop it for you and throw
it over the wall when it's ready. Of course, you get all sources and documentation, so you can do the maintenance yourself.
- Manpower: you may be short-staffed with an urgent project to complete (are there any others?), or your in-house specialist may be unavailable, or you may temporalily need specialist skills. We may have
the right skills and may be able to help.
- Education and training: normally, we don't do this, especially not in the form of classroom education. We will consider it as a way to teach your people some specific skills, or to build on specialist
knowledge that they may have.
